The stance width is flexible,
at around one-and-a-half (1.5) shoulder widths. The stance length is also flexible,
with the feet parallel and the heel of the front foot close to being even with the toes of the rear
foot. The weight is distributed evenly on both feet with the knees bent inward
under pressure. The hips are pulled back.
This stance is named for the more advanced foot and is performed full or side facing.
