Breaking requirements for promotion to 7th Dan Black Belt:

There are no specific breaking requirements for promotion to 7th Dan Black Belt.  However, it is expected that the student will perform some breaks on 1" pine boards and/or concrete tiles including power breaks and technique breaks.  These can include power foot breaks, power hand breaks, technique foot breaks, and/or technique hand breaks as part of their specialty demonstration.

The breaking techniques chosen for suggestion to the test board by the testing candidate may include any technique learned during their Taekwon-Do career.
