There
are no specific breaking requirements for promotion to 7th Dan Black Belt. However, it is expected that the student will perform several breaks on 1" pine boards and/or concrete tiles including power and
technique breaks.

the Ho-Sin-Sul (Self Defense) techniques in the art of Taekwon-Do
An understanding of the characteristics of a Parallel Ready Stance with an Overlapped Backhand (na-ran-hi seo po-gaen son-deung)
An understanding of the pattern history, pattern diagram, and number of movements for the pattern Tong-il
Training expectations for the Chang Hon Kwan Taekwon-Do
class are that the student must complete 72 months of active training at a 6th Dan Black Belt level.

Actual physical requirements AT testing
for a 7th Dan Black Belt will consist of a demonstration of
the pattern Tong-il. The testing candidate may also choose to perform a Specialty Demonstration of their preference.
The contents of such a Specialty Demonstration are developed by the testing candidate. This demonstration
should highlight their physical proficiency and understanding of one or more elements of the art of Taekwon-Do listed above
including patterns, step-sparring, sparring, kicking, Ho-Sin-Sul, and/or breaking.
